Spirit of St. Louis Taking Flight.
The SPIRIT OF ST. LOUIS, Cast Aluminum replica radiator mount from a vintage auto. Mounted on the inside hub from a F-104 main landing gear wheel half and bolted to a NOS Allison 250 series helicopter turbine engine compressor wheel. Finished in silver vein powder coat with a Nocturne Corian base.
Wings measure 7⅝", Fuselage is 6½" and the overall height is 6". Very nice desk top display.
